PAW Media and Communications2PAW Media and Communications is a not-for-profit organisation incorporated under the NT Associations Act. Established in 1983 as Warlpiri Media Association we took on the trading name PAW Media and Communications in 2006 to reflect our services to other language groups in the Tanami region. We are one of eight (8) Remote Indigenous Media Organisations (RIMOs) in Australia.

PAW Media and Communications is an Aboriginal media organisation situated at Yuendumu in the Northern Territory PAW Media and Communications3of Australia. We are a Remote Indigenous Media Organisaton (RIMO) providing coordination services to RIBS (remote Indigenous Broadcasting Services) in the wider Tanami area of Central Australia. RIBs are community radio stations established throughout the 1990s under the Broadcasting for Remote Aboriginal Communities Scheme (BRACS).

For 30 years, we’ve been creating video, radio and music in the remote Aboriginal community of Yuendumu. Working with local people in language and according to local cultural protocols, we create unique Aboriginal media productions.
