Melbourne Didgeridoo and Cultural Festival2A celebration of the oldest wind instrument on the planet – the Fesival is endorsed by the local Wurundjeri people on whose land the Festival is held, and further endorsed by the traditional owners and custodians of the Didgeridoo and Yidaki – the Yolngu people of NE Arnhem Land.

The didge is showcased with Indigenous dance, culture, storytelling and song by both Indigenous players and musicians from the wider Australian community and International players. Each year players emerge with fusions of Didge & Guitar, Didge & Violin, Didge & Japanese Flute Melbourne Didgeridoo and Cultural Festival3(Shakahatchi), Didge & Beatbox, Didge & Danceloops.
