Indigenous Youth Health Service (IYHS)
The Indigenous Youth Health Service (IYHS) provides a range services which aim to address the health needs of homeless and at risk Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people aged 12-25 years.
Our programs include, information, advice and referral; advocacy; substance misuse; sexual health and community education on particular health issues; and recognising health as being holistic and inclusive of all aspects in our daily lives which may affect the personal health and wellbeing of our young people.
IYHS is made up of 4 distinct programs areas:
- Addressing Volatile Substance Misuse Program
- Innovative Health Service for Homeless Youth
- Sexual Health Program
- Community Drug and Alcohol Program
