Deadly Ears2

The Deadly Ears Program is Queensland Health’s State-wide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ear Health Program for children.

We aim to manage and reduce the high rates of conductive hearing  loss attributable to otitis media in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We engage and consult with communities to deliver a service focused on long term improvement of ear health outcomes for children and their families.

Deadly Ears3We also want to create long term changes across the education, health and early years services (sectors) that improve ear health, hearing and educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
