ANU French Collective


ANU French Collective2The ANU French Collective is a club affiliated with ANUSA (Australian National University Students’ Association) which is based in Canberra, ACT. The French Collective is a student-run club for people interested in the culture, language and society of french-speaking countries, in particular France.

The Collective was founded in 2000 but ceased operating in 2002. However, in 2006 the Collective was reinvigorated and has since gone from strength to strength.

The aims and objectives of the Club are:
(a) To promote the French language and culture, in support of ANU French Collective3both the CASS French Faculty and the wider French community, particularly in Canberra.
(b) To foster a welcoming and inclusive community of enthusiastic students, creating an environment in which to celebrate our common interests.
(c) To mark yearly occasions of importance with other language clubs, thus encouraging interrelation and multiculturalism.
